Hubley Cast Iron #8 Red Racer 6? We have for you a cast iron #8 red racer that was manufactured by Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, PA. The white rubber tires are still intact, but as per usual with toys of this age, they may have petrified, discolored, warped, and/or cracked. This piece is in very good all original condition with no breaks, restorations, repairs, or touch-ups. This piece shows the usual patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, surface rust, scratches, missing accessories, and wear that are to be expected from age and play. Fantastic and RARE RED Hubley Bell Telephone Cast Iron Mack. Original piece with accessories. These red ones were exclusive for the Ohio Valley region for Bell Telephone in the late 1920’s-early 30’s and are much less common then the green versions more often seen. The trucks in that region were all painted red. This piece is in fantastic condition with many accessories. Two ladders, shovels, post hole digger, trailer with pole and more. All original paint and even the tires are original and roll wonderfully. There is some minor cracking and light “flat” spots but nothing that prohibits the tires from rolling. I acquired this at Hershey very recently from a well known toy collector. Absolutely fantastic condition for the age. Truck itself is roughly 10 in length. Paint appears to be all. Original on both the car and the trailer. Car 5″L x 1 5/8″T x 2W. Trailer 4 5/8″L x 1 1/2″T x 1 3/4W. See no breaks or repairs. Back rubber tire on trailer appear to be replaced, otherwise all original condition. Hard toy to find. Nice addition to your collection.
