This Loco is DCC and Sound Ready. This means that it will run as it is on an analogue (DC) layout but would only need for you to plug in a decoder (not included) for use on a digital (DCC layout). There is also a mounting point for your speaker, should you want to make it into a sound loco. This outstanding loco has an injection moulded body and diecast chassis, so it is not only well detailed, (as pictured), but also very heavy, so it will have excellent tractive force, enabling it to pull a long train of wagons. There is a bag of loco tools which you can add to make the Loco even more authentic, a bag containing a number of different etched brass name plates and the original instructions. The buffers are all sprung loaded, the cab interior is very well appointed, and there is separately applied pipework and brasswork. This superb Loco should provide year’s of trouble free use.
