Cast Iron Workbench / Desk originally from the Alfred Herbert Ltd Factory, Coventry. Not sure on age but I believe the cast iron legs are at least 70 years old, and they weigh a considerable amount on their own! I converted it for use in my garage and installed a perspex top with removable checker plate borders. This allows for artwork to be displayed and changed whenever necessary/wanted. I also installed a makeshift ruler on the worktop. Also included is a shelf/footrest which isn’t amazing quality but does the job. Could use a little refinement to get it to its best, but it’s super sturdy and I’d keep it if I had the room!
