A stunning pair of genuine antique French cast iron planters / jardinières, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. They are ornately decorated with scrolls, acanthus leaves and flowers, complete with original red paint. They each measure 48cm wide x 21cm deep x 19cm high. One of the planters has an old repair to one leg (see photo), and they have wear to the paint and surface rust, otherwise all in genuine antique condition.
