This great Post Office Box has a cast iron fascia and door with a steel collection box and Foundry Marks, Cast from the original Carron foundry Stirling 1977 model so as close to the real thing as you can get for a newly cast box. FREE PRIVATE COLLECTION laminated collection plate and number with every post box! This Box has next Collection stamped in the door. Measuring H56 cm x w24 x D34 cm and weight is approx 16 kg. Opening for letters is : 18 cm x 4.3 cm. Each box comes with two keys and has plenty of space to put your own details on the front for the Postman. Also have the holes already drilled out. Cast iron front, steel back and will last a lifetime with proper care. Please expect some possible small chips and scratches. It is a heavy item so it is hard to avoid this but your box will look authentic from the period. Some small cracks in the seams maybe present they can be covered with a lick of paint if you feel it requires this. However it may not have any of these marks too. Please also remember that it is cast iron and constructed from metal so some small rust marks may be present. Please note we are a retail outlet and are open 6 days per week. Orders received after that will be dispatched on Mondays. Please note that there are no dispatches or deliveries during the weekend or on bank holidays. With this service you can authorise the courier to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place – at your own risk. It is your responsibility to be in to receive your goods. Larger items will be delivered by a haulage company on a pallet service, which will be delivered to the road side by tail lift. Sub-contractor drivers are used and are not obliged to carry anything off the pallet or carry items onto your property. It is your responsibility to be in to receive, check and sign for your goods. Goods MUST be checked in front of the driver immediately and sign for’in good condition’. This is your opportunity to ensure you are happy with your order. The signature will void a later claim for Damage in Transit so it is vital you check your goods right way before signing. You MUST be in to receive your goods on the date agreed with the haulage company. Ireland and remote locations around the UK, may incur a surcharge.
