VINTAGE HUBLEY CAST IRON RED STATIC BOAT with ORIGINAL DRIVER, MOTOR and STRING. Yet another great toy from my “PA TOYS OF TIMES PAST” collection. You won’t find one like this here anywhere especially with all the original pieces. This fine specimen came from the Hubley Mfg. Lancaster, Pennsylvania – Circa 1930 Hubley speed boats are seldom found in such fantastic condition and this is certainly one of those examples. The red body with gold highlights of a seahorse on either side of the hull make the toy especially beautiful. Comes with the original pull string and ball. The motor also has its original Johnson decal. No breaks, cracks or repairs. The only thing I see wrong is the two rear tires are dry rotted and cracked. But why replace something that shows it’s age as a patina would to any antique. Not many of these come up here for sale and the price reflects that. So grab it now before it’s gone!
